Terms and ConditionsPLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITEPLEASE NOTE - No member of the R&A Design Ltd team has the authority to over-rule these Terms and Conditions. They are COMPANY rules and it is in each staff member's contract to adhere to these rules. 1 :: IMPORTANT! Where applicable, please offer goods up to the vehicle to check for correct fit, BEFORE painting,drilling or fitting. If this point is not adhered to, an exchange, credit or refund WILL NOT be given. 2 :: All products remain the property of R&A Design Ltd. until cleared funds are received, including, but not limited to the customer's credit card being rejected. 3a (Goods sent by TNT) :: CLAIMS FOR DAMAGED GOODS ARE DECLARED INVALID IF THE GOODS ARE NOT CHECKED BEFORE BEING SIGNED FOR! THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE. 3b (Goods sent by ANC) :: DAMAGED GOODS MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 24HOURS OF RECEIPT. IF THIS IS NOT ADHERED TO, A CLAIM CANNOT BE MADE. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE. 4 :: If the products are defective, R&A must be notified within seven working days. Products returned as defective, but found by R&A to be in good condition, or products ordered in error will be subject to the conditions of point '5'. Working days do not include Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays. 5 :: Products are not sold on a trial basis. However, if within seven days, the customer decides the products are not to their satisfaction (but not defective), a credit, exchange or refund may be offered, entirely at the discretion of R&A Design or our product suppliers. Items returned under these circumstances may be subject to a 20% re-handling charge, entirely at R&A Design's discretion (depending on the nature of the return). 6 :: Refunds cannot be given after the time limits stated in points 4 & 5. 7 :: If a deposit has been taken on a product and this product is cancelled for any reason, the original deposit cannot be refunded. 8 :: Returns must be authorised by R&A Design by phone, fax, letter or email, and a returns number obtained. The returns form below must be filled in and returned with the invoice. Customers have seven working days in which to return goods once a returns number has been issued. If this point is not adhered to, the goods will be returned to the customer. 9 :: Replacement products cannot be sent out until R&A Design or an agreed third party receives the original products. 10 :: R&A endeavour to send goods out on time, but cannot be held responsible for late deliveries due to the courier or postal service. All delivery times quoted are approximate. Complaints specific to late delivery should be directed to the relevant courier. 11 :: The painting/fitting arrangements and cost are entirely the responsibility of the customer. R&A Design would ask our customers to get more than one quote when inquiring about painting cost. It is also recommended that you call us for a comparison quote. The cost of the painting is not a valid reason for returning goods. Under these circumstances goods will not be accepted back into stock. This condition does not effect the seven day right to cancel (section 13). 12 :: A product cannot be returned if an alternative or equivalent product has been ordered from another company. If a product is not cancelled prior to it being charged for and sent, it is then the property of the customer and falls into the relevant categories above. This condition does not effect the seven day right to cancel (section 13). 13 :: A customer has the right to cancel any goods up to seven working days after he/she receives them. Depending upon the nature of the return, the goods still come under the relevant section above. The right to cancel does not include goods made to order or ordered specially for the customer. This includes Schmidt Wheels, special order parts from Europe and some mechanicals. For more information regarding the right to cancellation, please request a copy of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations from your local council's Environmental Services & Trading Standards department. 14 :: WEBSITE - Orders made online fall under the terms on conditions above. However, website customers must understand that certain parts are ordered specially from our suppliers and therefore fall under the relevant sections above. If you are unsure about which parts constitute a special order, please contact us by e-mail. R&A Design Ltd do endeavour to display our products as clearly as possible. The descriptions hold as much information as possible in order to prevent customers ordering incorrect parts. However, please note that the images are for illustration purposes only and designs/details may be changed without prior notice. Certain vehicles on the website are modified in other ways. If you are unsure about what you're buying, please contact us to avoid mistakes. NB - These terms and conditions have been checked and approved by members of our local council's Trading Standards and Environmental Health Department. Our Company Address :: INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING Shipping quoted is for normal UK only. "Normal UK" is classed as mainland England, mainland southern Scotland and Wales. Ireland, offshore England and the Highlands and Islands of Scotland will cost more, as will Ireland/Eire and any non-UK countries. We will contact you with shipping prices prior to processing the order. You can then choose to cancel the order (which will incur no handling charges) or you must notify R&A by e-mail, fax or phone to confirm that you accept the shipping charges. |
